Strut Your Mutt 2010
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where do I pick up my registration packet?
A: If you register online or through the mail prior to Saturday, May 15th, your packet will be mailed to the address on your registration form. After May 15th, because of time restraints with mailing materials, your registration materials will be available at the will call tent the day of the walk. Go directly to will call; you do not need to stand in the registration lines UNLESS you have donations you need to turn in. You will be able to pick up your free t-shirt at any of the registration or will call lines. There is one free t-shirt per paid registration. Additional t-shirts can be purchased for $15 at the registration tent.
Online registration and donations will close on Friday, May 21st at noon in order for us to prepare for Strut Your Mutt 2010. We still invite you to register or donate at the event on Saturday, May 22nd in Veterans Memorial Park.
Q: I registered online and I haven't received anything in the mail yet. When should I expect it?
A: Online registrations are checked frequently and registration packets are mailed as soon as possible thereafter. Please allow up to two weeks for your packets to arrive in the mail. Keep in mind, though, if you do not receive a packet by the day of the event, you can pick up your materials at the will call line the morning of the event.
Q: Do I have to fundraise in order to come to the event?
A: Strut Your Mutt is a fundraising event. The more money raised by individuals, the more we can do for animals. Those who do fundraise tend to get more excited about the event, and there are even various prizes for reaching certain pledge levels. Once registered, you gain entry to the event, but any money you do raise goes directly to animals in need.
Q: I am interested in getting a booth at the event. Who do I contact?
A: Contact the Booth Committee: Maria (801) 597-0987 or Shayna nsdunford@hotmail.com.
Q: Do I have to have a dog to come to the event?
A: Absolutely not! If you have a cat, if you have a dog in your future, or if you just love animals, come and enjoy the morning with us. Funds raised help all animals. (As much as we love cats, this event is designed specifically for dogs. Please leave your feline friends at home.)
