Attention ISF Dog Packers!!!
We are meeting at the ISF Booth at 8:30 Saturday morning! Once we've assembled as a team, we'll head over to the actual walk together. Don't forget that our team color is BLUE! Make sure to wear something blue: shirt, hat, pants, skirt, dress, or put a blue outfit on your pooch! This way we'll all be able to recognize each other quickly and easily throughout the duration of the event!
When you arrive at the park, please make sure you have checked in at the network partner walkers tent to get your t-shirt and event swag before heading over to the ISF Booth. If any of your friends are joining you for Team ISF, they can sign up at the same place and time you are checking in.
PLEASE NOTE: The ISF Network Partner Booth is located on the right hand side of the Main Stage (Congress St side of the park). Right next to the “Kissing Booth”.
ISF DOG PACK UPDATE
This just in! The top 5 fundraisers from the ISF Dog Pack in Lafayette AND the top 5 Virtual Fundraisers will win an official Strut Your Mutt t-shirt signed by our team captain, Ian! The contest will run through October 6th, so don't stop fundraising after the event on Saturday! We'll let you know who the lucky winners are on October 8th.
Also, we would really love to be with you no matter where you are strutting this year! We want to see you whether you are in Atlanta or London! Please post your personal Strut Your Mutt stories on the IS Foundation Facebook page so we can all share your special day with you and you can share ours with us!

Welcome to the Ian Somerhalder Foundation Dog Pack for Strut Your Mutt 2012. Strut Your Mutt is the premier animal lover's extravaganza hosted by Best Friends each year. This is ISF’s first year of participation and we are very excited that you will be working with us to raise funds for the Ian Somerhalder Foundation Animal Sanctuary.
Ian is our team captain and he will be participating in the Strut Your Mutt Lafayette, Louisiana event on September 22, 2012. 100% of all money raised through the ISF Dog Pack will go to the Ian Somerhalder Foundation and - good news! - your contribution is tax deductible. As you know, we have been working hard to secure funding and land for the animal sanctuary for quite sometime. Once in place, the Animal Sanctuary will provide a safe place for all creatures - from dogs to field mice to giraffes to elephants - as well as create opportunities for troubled youth to develop compassion and leadership skills by caring for neglected animals. We strongly believe that as these young people witness the healing process of the animals at this no-kill shelter, they will gain a deep level of compassion and ownership that will prove to be invaluable as they transform into tomorrow's leaders.
Our goal is to raise at least $150,000 on September 22nd. Every dollar raised makes a difference and no donation too small! Here’s how you can help:
1. Join the ISF Lafayette Dog Pack by clicking the “Join This Dog Pack!” button above. You’ll be able to set up your own personal fundraising page that allows you to have all your family and friends sponsor your “Strut."
2. If you can’t be in Lafayette on September 22nd, no worries, you can still participate “virtually”. Join the ISF Dog Pack by clicking the “Join This Dog Pack!” button above and set up your fundraising page as a virtual participant.
3. Make a contribution to one of our Dog Pack members’ personal fundraising pages. You can find a list of all participants in the box below.
